The directory at vantageevents.app/events lists upcoming events by city and category. Listing your events there is free on every plan, and each listing links to your event page, where people register.
Listing starts off. Only Admins can turn it on. Open Settings, find Event directory, read the consent line, switch on List our events on the directory, then choose Save.
Turning it on records the date and the Admin who did it: "Turned on {date} by {name}."
You can also start from an event. On its Event Page tab, find the Event directory card in the Publish section. Choose List our events, then Turn on.
Managers see: "An Admin can list your organization's events on vantageevents.app/events from Settings."
Use Category to choose where your events appear on the directory. Choose one of the eleven categories, or Community events if none fits. Your choice applies to all of your organization's listed events.
Listed events are published, in person or hybrid, with a venue address the app can read a city from. They stay listed until they end. An event with no end time ends 12 hours after it starts, on the venue's clock.
Online-only, invite-only, closed, unpublished and ended events are not listed. Neither are events without a date or a public page address, events you keep off, or test and demo organizations.
Write the venue address as street, city, state and ZIP.
Once listing is on, the Event directory card shows Shared or Not shared. A shared event reads "Shared with the directory. It appears there within a day. Category: {category}."
In Settings, Your upcoming events shows up to 25 events and each one's status. Choose See the directory to open vantageevents.app/events.
With listing on, Admins and Managers can switch off Include this event on the event's card. If the event is already listed, it comes off within a day.
A cloned event, and every date of a recurring series, keeps the setting.
New listings and category changes appear within a day. If you turn listing off, keep an event off, unpublish it or close it, the listing comes off within a day.
Does listing cost anything? No. Listing is free on every plan.
Where do people register? On your event page. The directory links there and never takes registrations.
Why does my event say Not shared? The card gives the reason, such as "Publish the event page first."
