East Lake Fire Rescue teaches Heartsaver CPR/AED classes at its Station 57 training facility, covering infant, child, and adult CPR, AED use, and choking response. An optional First Aid CPR/AED add-on is also available, partly completed online. The classes are not intended for health care workers seeking BLS certification.
Usual audience: Attendees are mostly parents, caregivers, and community members earning an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR/AED card, along with ELFR staff family and CERT volunteers.
